Below is a guide to the materials we use to make signs with
Correx is a relatively low cost fluted polypropylene ideal for estate agents boards and other temporary exterior signs and displays,
Foam PVC is an ideal substrate for mounting graphics and digital print for trade fairs and exhibition stands. It can also be used for internal signs and point of sale advertising as well as safety signs and small exterior signs. It does have the tendency to warp with heat from sunlight and should not be considered for long-term exterior use although warping can be minimised by use of a frame.

FOAM-X is a feather light material sheet with very good flatness. The sheets consist of an elastic, closed-cell structure core of expanded polystyrene and strong, coated liners.
Applications: Signs / Posters, Point of sale, Displays, Screen printing
Photo mounting, All 3-D applications
This product is NOT suitable for external use please see Foam PVC for external foam board
Acrylic - Often known by its trade name, Perspex, Acrylic is a great product for internal and external use. If used as a main fascia sign it does require a frame. It also looks fantastic when diamond or flame polished and set off from the wall with chrome or stainless steel studs. Acrylic is also used to cut out individual letters using a router
Aluminium is a robust material used for road signs and is often used for bending to form signs that have a 3 dimensional look, often referred to as a tray. The material can also be used to cover up existing fascias and shutter boxes to create a more appealing look
ACM - Aluminium Composite Materials are a modern material comprising an aluminium skin to both sides with a plastic inner board. This gives a combination of the lightweight of plastic with the durability of Aluminium at an affordable cost. Like aluminium it can be folded to form sign trays and is often used to produce individual letters. It comes in many colours and finishes
Stainless Steel - Used as a substrate for engraving and for three dimensional and flat cut lettering. Its rust and stain resistance makes it an ideal material for these purposes and minimises maintenance
Magnet - Magnet is often used as a substrate where the sign is required to be easily removed and reapplied. Typically vehicle graphics where you don't wish to advertise all the time or where you are also using a vehicle for private use
